Ghost The Musical

Ghost The Musical at Princess Theatre

Why see Ghost The Musical?

Oh My Love, My Darling...

A haunting love story that made the world look at the pottery wheel in a whole new way, Ghost is now set to materialise in a theatre near you as this musical adaption of the 1990 film takes to the road on tour.

Recounting the tale of a young couple torn apart by tragedy and their supernatural reunion, prepare for a tear-jerking experience, with a book by the movie's screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin and soundtracked by Eurythmics' Dave Stewart, including the iconic Righteous Brothers' No.1 song, 'Unchained Melody'.

What Is The Story?

Life seems perfect for Sam and Molly, a young professional couple living in New York, but one night everything changes. When the pair are walking home, Sam is brutally murdered by a corrupt colleague, leaving Molly  shocked and traumatized. Sam is dead but his spirit remains, trapped between the present and the afterlife. He wanders the streets of New York, unable to communicate with Molly, heartbroken and trying to process his situation. But when he discovers Molly is in danger he searches for a way to warn her, encountering Oda Mae Brown, a fake psychic. Accustomed to her artifice, Oda is more than a little startled to hear Sam's voice, but together it's up to them to save Molly, and maybe even find Sam a way back to her.

Incredible Proformance of Ghost

Dear Princess Theatre Team, I wanted to take a moment to express how much I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday’s performance of *Ghost*. The production was a perfect balance of emotional depth and humor, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. I was especially moved by the performances of Rebekah Lowings as Molly Jensen, Jacqui Dubois as Oda Mae Brown, and Josh St Clair as Sam Wheat. Rebekah captured Molly's vulnerability and strength so beautifully, while Jacqui brought such charisma and comedic timing to Oda Mae, making the character unforgettable. Josh’s portrayal of Sam was both heartfelt and compelling, making the emotional moments all the more powerful. The show was not only entertaining but also deeply moving, and I found myself both laughing and tearing up throughout the evening. Thank you for bringing this wonderful production to life – it was a truly brilliant experience. ... Read more
